Gonoyama just sort of kind of proved he can hang in the joi-jin. He got absolutely hammered in the first week by the Sanyaku, but 5-2 after Day Eight. A bare make-koshi does mean a small demotion, but he;s got pretty much the same schedule in May to try and improve on his performance.
