League Notes: * * * FANTASY JAI-ALAI RULES: * * * Every team must include exactly 3 SINGLES PLAYERS and 1 DOUBLES PAIR (4 total "players" per team) • • • Your team value CANNOT exceed the allotted $21 budget. If your team is locked-in for the week at a total price exceeding $21, your entry will be DISQUALIFIED for that respective week. • • • Fantasy points are earned every time a player finishes "in-the-money" (1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th place) during the active week of play. • • • Points are distributed as follows: 5 points per win (1st), 3 points per place (2nd), 2 points per show (3rd) and 1 point per quad (4th). • • • The winner is determined by the total number of fantasy points collected at the end of each respective week of play - the team with the highest fantasy point total, at the end of the active week, WINS the weekly prize. • • • Entries must be submitted by 11:59 AM ET every Thursday (before the first performance of the week) to be valid. * * * PRIZES: * * * Currently, the weekly prize is $100 to a single weekly winner. If there is more than 1 winner in the same week, then the prize money is divided by the number of winning teams (minimum $25 guarantee). There is also a special end-of-the-season prize that will be given to the team that accumulates the most weekly wins over the entire Jai-Alai season! * * * IMPORTANT DETAILS: * * * Player prices, stats and player info is updated EVERY SINGLE WEEK, so please review your team line-up at the beginning of each week to ensure that your team total remains in budget. We highly recommend that you wait to draft your next week's line-up until we send out our weekly email confirming that all of the information for the upcoming active week of play has been updated. (This email typically goes out on Monday afternoons, but please wait for the official email saying that everything is updated before setting your lineup for the next week). Please note that the fantasy website allows your lineup to "carry over" from week to week, so, again, we highly encourage everyone to check the updated prices for your team line-up each week to ensure that your team total is within the budget. If your team exceeds $21, you will be disqualified from that respective week. • • • To get even more information about player/team statistics, please visit https://www.magiccitycasino.com/jai-alai-entries-and-results. * * * ADDITIONAL POLICIES: * * * Player prices are determined by a number of factors, including statistical averages, previous week's performance and projected games played. The weekly fantasy roster and associated prices are based on the confirmed programs for Thursday and Friday, which become available on the Monday of the active week of play. These programs can be found on https://www.magiccitycasino.com/jai-alai-entries-and-results. • • • Substitutes for scratched players are determined and assigned at the sole discretion of Magic City Management. For singles, the SUBSTITUTE player will always EARN the fantasy points for any game in which they replace a scratched player and finish "in the money." For doubles, this policy is slightly different. If a player is scratched PRIOR TO THE FIRST PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK (i.e. the player is a late scratch and does not play any games that particular week), you WILL get fantasy points earned with a substitute doubles player. If a player is scratched mid-week (i.e. injury related) or excluded from the entries for a particular performance, you WILL NOT get any fantasy points earned with a substitute/replacement doubles player. Note: The Commissioner reserves the right to make executive decisions regarding points in unique circumstances. • • • Individuals contracted to play professional Jai-Alai at Magic City Jai-Alai are prohibited from participating in this fantasy league.
